A Series of 9 paintings on Currency for Davis and Louise Riemer of DHR Investment Counsel. Davis and Louise visited my studio looking for Art made with currency. Their desire and passion to create a creative atmosphere in their office/work environment was positive and enlightened. They wanted clients and potential clients to see and feel the creative and expressive power of art and the unleashed potential of currency as an object when a little creative energy is applied. These paintings were made over several years on denominations ranging from the $1.00 to the $1,000.00 dollar bills. They also incorporate a wide variety of Hardwoods in support of each visual narrative.
